About Our Journey

Trusted in the industry since 2009

In 2007 I started building a campervan off my driveway to create a nice place to stay whilst trackside at race tracks, which was very quickly sold due to an offer I could not refuse. I then proceeded to convert a much newer van with the extra money made from the first converted van, but the same situation repeated itself and van two was sold very quickly. I started to get a feeling that this was my calling, and that year converted and sold 5 vans off my driveway, whilst still working for my father.

In 2009 I decided to make this my living, and took a leap of faith into building vans full time and signed a lease for a small workshop that I shared with my father. Three Bridge Campers was born! As the years passed we got busier and busier so I bought in a business partner that was a close friend of mine, and released a patented conversion called the Infinity. This design had European approval granted for its design patent and was revolutionary for its time in the campervan conversion market, making the big guns of the industry look at what we were doing.

We soon outgrown the workshop we had, so decided to move into the larger workshop next door, and the one next to that, and purchased the bodyshop that was on-site to carry-out all custom paintwork and styling parts. We were soon becoming a recognised name in the industry, and won awards for our high specification and innovative conversions.

In 2019 we made the decision to purchase a much larger workshop in Milton Keynes, and renovate it to our exact specification and needs to create the perfect ergonomic working space for camper conversions.

Unfortunately in 2020, just one year on from our exciting new venture Covid hit the world. Obviously this created a host of issues, from manufacturing delays on parts and vans, to staffing and logistical problems that had a huge effect on the industry and us.

After lockdown we had a slump in work due to the uncertainty of the financial market and the future of the leisure industry, so we had to make tough decisions which included focussing our efforts on the larger vans such as the VW Crafter and MAN TGE due to supply issues on the VW Transporters, and the announcement from VW that the T7 was going to be delayed in its release.

When we released our first VW Crafter / MAN TGE van at the motorhome show NEC, we won best van in show against some of the biggest manufacturers in the market, and also best van in show for our older Transporter van. This spurred us to make our big vans a priority, so we made the big decision to reinvented ourselves accordingly as a TREK RV, which was innkeeping with our new image and designs in the big van market.

Fast forward another 3 years and we were busier than ever, with the VW Crafter and MAN TGE being the main conversion base vehicle of the company. Unfortunately, although we were creating builds that were setting the bar high and gaining traction within the new market, me and my business partner felt we needed change, as the company was taking so much of our time and energy.

In 2025 we decided to close TREK RV and sell our workshop in Milton Keynes to focus on things that made us happy and gave us time. We both decided to go our separate ways but stay working together in a new format. We have two workshops much closer to home, and have more time to spend doing what we love and what we started out doing all those years ago.

OX RV was born in late 2025 to harness nearly 20 years experience in creating some of the finest campervans in the UK, whilst still working with my business partner in the workshop next door, we collaborate to come up with fresh ideas and new ways to push boundaries in the leisure scene.

I have returned to my roots and back to building campervans on the scale I started with, whilst also using my knowledge to source, buy and sell the best examples of motorhomes and campervans on the market. We are now a family run business with my wife running administration and hire, and my son carrying out vehicle preparations.
